  Newell´s Old Boys vs Patronato ended 2-2 in the 6th round of la Liga Profesional A game that had each team won a half, the first half belonged to Newell´s and in the 7th minute of play Velázquez won a header from the corner and sent the ball past the Patronato keeper and into the bottom corner of the net.  After the goal the team of  Sanguinetti had many chances to add to their lead and finally achieved  the second goal when Ramiro Sordo scored from a low cross across the box from Francisco González. Copa Liga Profesional 2022: San Lorenzo loose against Patronato to continue their woes. San Lorenzo fell to defeat at home 2-1 against Patronato in the 12th round of matches in the Copa LPF, and the fans expressed all of their anger again. The two goal scorers were Alex Rodríguez and Gudiño , while a own goal reduced score after Fernández Mercau was sent off in the 64 minute to reduce the hosts to 10 men.
