Boca won 1-0 against Gimnasia y Tiro en Salta in La serie Río de la plata in what was the debut of new manager Diego Martínez, the man chosen to lead the Xeneize into the new season. The only goal coming from Ezequiel Bullaude, in the 8th minute of the match.

After Marcos Rojo suffered an injury during the warm up it was a debut for the new defender Cristian Lema. After becoming increasingly injury prone in recent times and linked with a move to Brazil last month it will be interesting to see how the new centre back performs this season.

Argentinos Juniors stadium tour 🇦🇷🇦🇷

I was lucky enough to spend some time in Argentina just before Christmas and managed to go on the stadium tour a Argentinos Juniors. The experience was fantastic and a great club in Buenos Aires that next time I visit I will definitely be going to the stadium for a game!!
