  Boca juniors 1-0 Gimnasia y Tiro Boca won 1-0 against Gimnasia y Tiro en Salta in La serie Río de la plata  in what was the debut of new manager   Diego Martínez, the man chosen to lead the  Xeneize into the new season. The only goal coming from  Ezequiel Bullaude , in the 8th minute of the match. After Marcos Rojo suffered an injury during the warm up it was a debut for the new defender Cristian Lema. After becoming increasingly injury prone in recent times and linked with a move to Brazil last month it will be interesting to see how the new centre back performs this season.
